Buck Love and the Humperheads LIVE " Volume 3 " More Cover Tunes $15 plus shipping 1 - Broadway 6:53 I recorded Buck Love and the Humperheads for four years because they are incredibly good and each set is completely different. When we decided to put together a cover tunes CD I had way too much material for just one CD, so we made Volumes 2 and 3. Volume 3 has a special bonus: one of the first recordings I every made of the group. "The City" was mixed live sitting at Kirby's Creekside bar during an unplugged acoustic gig. It shows how the band can get absolutely into the moment, musically, and then bring the entire audience along for the ride. That song, and the others on all three volumes, demonstrate a level of creative empathy and improvisational mastery that comes after playing together for twenty years. |

Buck Love and the Humperheads LIVE " Volume 2 " Cover Tunes $15 plus shipping 1 - Fire and Brimstone 5:14 Buck Love and the Humperheads is not just a cover band. They perform lots of originals, as their first CD proves (Volume 1 - Originals). But they also play covers, and play them very well. On this CD you hear them rip into a variety of classic tunes, putting their own unique take on each one. All digitally recorded and mixed so you hear every word and every note. |

Dakota Sid and the Badland Serenaders LIVE at Cooper's $15 plus shipping 1 - North Dakota Flash 4:09 The legendary Dakota Sid Clifford is in top form with this band, featuring his son Travers Clifford on lead guitar and mandolin, bassist Bill Smart, and drummer Skip Alan Smith. Tight four part harmony, inspired lyrics, and hot jamming makes this a special treat. This is the real deal. Nearly every song was written by Dakota Sid, and all were arranged specifically for this lineup's musical prowess. Here the band performs at Josiah Sillwater Cooper's Saloon in Nevada City, California in front of an enthuiastic home-town audience. Recorded live to 16 tracks, then mixed and mastered to bring out all the musical nuances, this CD faithfully reproduces the excitement of an intimate live show. |
